See if You Qualify
Prior to starting programs at HOPe, we get to know interested families to ensure we can meet their needs and goals. Our qualification process includes assessing the potential member to ensure HOPe programs are a good fit. We also work with families to determine if there are funding sources available.
Who do we typically serve?
Children and adults with disabilities who are living at home or with a family member.
Young adults on a pathway to employment.
While HOPe strives to serve as many individuals as we can, there are a few capabilities we do not have:
HOPe does not have the staff, facilities or equipment to serve medically fragile individuals.
HOPe staff are not restraint trained and can not serve individuals with behavior plans that could require restraint.
Funding Sources
We work with our prospective members and their families to review funding sources to support their participation and attendance in HOPe programs and services. Funding for our programs typically comes from the following sources:
Department of Developmental Services (DDS) Funded:
Career and Community Access Program
Coaching & College Navigation
Adult Overnight Respite
Private Pay
Children’s Overnight Respite
Social & Recreational Programs
Coaching & College Navigation
Financial Assistance
Financial Assistance and the Caroline Maura Hamilton Friendship Fund is available for private-pay programs. The Friendship Fund allows HOPe to provide financial assistance where financial circumstances do not allow a family to afford all or part of our program fees. Our team is happy to work with all families to make attendance in our programs financially possible.
