Overview of HOPe Services
House of Possibilities offers a range of services for children, teens and adults with developmental challenges, carefully crafted to help them grow in confidence, skills and happiness.
Our programs at HOPe are thoughtfully designed to enrich our members’ lives while also providing their families with a well-deserved break from caregiving.
We are constantly evaluating and evolving our offerings to meet the needs of our members and provide a rich variety of experiences both at our facility, online, and in the community: Cooking, gardening, arts and crafts, social events, exercise, life and vocational skills development, field trips, volunteer and job opportunities and more.
Through our partnerships and collaborations with Stonehill College, the YMCA, local employers, and various nonprofits, we’re able to offer members innovative opportunities to work, play and learn. We’re here for our members’ families, too, helping them connect with the resources and support they need.
Overnight Respite
Overnight respite provides children and adult participants with the opportunity to socialize with peers and build independence. While members are at HOPe, families and caregivers have the chance to take a break and tend to the health and well-being of the entire family.
Career & Community Access
House of Possibilities (HOPe) has an embedded site at Jewish Vocational Services’ (JVS) Economic Opportunity Center located at 75 Federal Street in Boston. HOPe and JVS have partnered to provide a cutting-edge Career & Community Access Program for young adults transitioning out of high school and on a pathway to employment.
Social & Recreational Activities
Social and Recreational Programs for children and adults create opportunities for relationship building, connection with other members, socialization, and opportunity for skill development.
Coaching & College Navigation
Coaching and College Navigation services empower individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder and similar profiles to achieve their full potential after high school by providing personalized support in goal-setting, self-advocacy, community engagement, and guidance through the college selection and application process.
