House of Possibilities (HOPe) has been a vital resource for families of children with disabilities since 2009, providing non-emergency overnight respite care at its respite facility in Easton, MA.

With the noticeable decline in overnight respite demand following the COVID-19 pandemic, HOPe is committed to understanding the evolving needs of families. To achieve this, HOPe has partnered with Stonehill College to conduct an IRB-approved research study.

Summer Update on Yawkey Strategic Investment Grant

House of Possibilities (HOPe) is excited to share significant progress following the Yawkey Foundation's Strategic Investment grant of $555,000, awarded late last year to support the pre-construction work for the expansion of our Easton campus. Partnering with CCS Fundraising, a nationally recognized consulting firm, we conducted a four-month Campaign Planning Study involving over 110 stakeholders. The study confirmed that HOPe is well-positioned to move forward with a $10M capital campaign aimed at expanding our facility and enhancing our services.

HOPe’s 2nd Annual Big Night Out Recap

On April 19, 2024, House of Possibilities (HOPe) proudly hosted its 2nd Annual Big Night Out at Brookmeadow Country Club in Canton, featuring New England Patriot Brenden Schooler as the event host. This member-focused semi-formal gathering welcomed participants to dress up and enjoy a vibrant night out within the greater community, complete with a dedicated “Chaperone” area that allowed caregivers and supporters to join in on the festivities, creating a truly welcoming atmosphere for all.

Introducing Team HOPe's 2024 Boston Marathon Runners and Coaches

House of Possibilities (HOPe) proudly presents our 2024 Team HOPe Boston Marathon athletes, a remarkable group running to support our mission. This year’s team includes veteran marathoner Larry Williams, retired NYPD member Donna Gaudino, teacher Jack Carroll, equity advocate Regina Green, Air Force member Sarah Gaughan, and several first-time and returning runners.

We are also excited to welcome back Scott and Beth Lennox as our 2024 coaches.

House of Possibilities Launches New Venture at the Boston Public Market  

HOPe Unlimited is a social enterprise operating out of the Boston Public Market providing retail workforce development and inclusive employment for individuals with disabilities.

HOPe Unlimited will operate two spaces within Boston Public Market; the first, a 48-square-foot American Stonecraft retail space staffed by HOPe Unlimited trainees and employees. The second, a 98-square-foot HOPe Unlimited retail shop will sell items produced by artists and craftspersons with disabilities from across the country.
